What do I need to wear?

Adult Classes

Please come along in comfortable clothing, something you can easily move in. Dance wear is perfect however non dance wear eg. Leggings and a tshirt is perfectly fine also. You should bring a jumper to wear until you warm up. Dance shoes or socks are recommended for most classes, trainers may also be suitable depending on the style of dance. Long hair should be tied back.

Children’s Classes

Dance Mix

Your child should come to class in comfortable clothing, something easy to move in. Dance wear is perfect however non dance wear eg. Leggings and a tshirt is perfectly fine also. Dance shoes or socks are recommended for most classes, trainers may also be suitable depending on the style of dance. Long hair should be tied back.

Children will be asked to wear the RESiDANCE Studios uniform t-shirt (although not essential for their first class with us) which can be purchased from us directly. Contact us here for more information.

Ballet Uniforms

We ask that uniforms are purchased and worn by children within 4 weeks after their first lesson.

Ballet Primary and Junior uniform: Lilac Leotard – Pink ballet socks or tights – Ballet shoes – Hair in a bun.

Ballet Senior uniform: Purple or Black Leotard – Pink ballet tights – Ballet shoes – Hair in a bun.

You do not need to purchase your child’s uniform specifically from ourselves, the images above are a guide to show you what to buy, however we do offer the opportunity to place an order through our website to make finding the uniform easier.
